We are the Kensington Community Association (Johannesburg).
Formerly known as the I Love Kensington Association (ILKA), and thereafter as the Kensington Residents and Ratepayers Association (KRRA). In 2024 the committee agreed, at its AGM, to adopt the name Kensington Community Association (KCA) in order to reflect a more inclusive organisation. The KCA remains committed to fostering a caring, beautiful and safe suburb for all who live in it and who are invested in it.
Our Mission:
- The KCA seeks to be the voice of Kensington’s residents and to foster mutually beneficial relationships between KCA and all who form part of the Kensington Community.
- The KCA seeks to encourage good citizenship while developing a community that adheres to by-laws.
- The KCA aims to constantly grow its membership base thus enabling the funding of various projects relating to security, cleanliness, heritage and community development.
